I agree that Apple is firing on all cylinders here and their implementation is certainly going to be better than Microsoft's. But when creative professionals are going to perform intensive tasks, Rosetta 2's emulation will be put to the test.

It's a cause for concern, one that Apple promises to end rather quickly. If Rosetta 2 works as promised, Apple gains a significant advantage over Intel, effectively forcing them to catch up, if they can. Either way, I'm still going to wait for reviewers to run some tests on these new chips before recommending M1-equipped devices to people.

I guess I'm just more skeptical than hopeful. But I am more than ready for an ARM future if Rosetta 2 delivers.
